Wandering...

Kira padded hopelessly through the thick brush until she came to a lake, the water shone brightly in the harsh sunlight and Kira wanted to just jump in and frolic with her friends, but she was lost, not even knowing if the lake could be dangerous or if this was a pack's territory, and if a wolf might here her splashes as she swam. So instead she sat there alone, lost, and a little scared. She had gotten skinnier ever since her journey from her wonderful home to this unknown place, and was famished. She looked scrawny and weak, another wolf could kill her easily, the thought made her even more scared, but the water calmed her down again. As she watched she saw little fish, and she started to drool, she looked around first, then quickly snatched it up with the swipe of her paw, she ate it and was overjoyed to be able to taste fish again. After she finished she looked around and spotted a moose, but she wasn't about to do something that would surely kill her, so she lied down instead and sighed.

Kiba watches Kira from the shadows, His ears perked.

Jay silently pads up to Kiba, her ears also perked, ready for her Alpha's command.

Kiba says quietly, "Go greet her, I'll be there soon enough."
He turns and pas the other way.

Kira stood up and started to pad into the soothing water, it felt good on her hot and tired paws, then she sat down and started to watch the moose again.

Jay nodded to her Alpha has he padded away, then she padded out from the shadows, revealing herself to the lone wolf.
"Hello there. I am Jay. Shaman of the Sumāto pack. Who are you?" She asked in a friendly tone, but also a tone of curiosity.

Kira jumped and made a loud splash in the water, making the moose sprint away. Then she looked at Jay and spoke.
"I am Kira...."
She sat there in silence not knowing what else to say.

Kiba pads back not long after dragging a deer. He places the deer on the edge of the water. "I'm Kiba."

"This is my Alpha." Jay told her, "He will decide what happens from here. But pleased to meet you anyway." She smiled

She looks as Kiba as Jay describes his rank and bows her head a little.
"Pleasure to meet you too."

Kiba gets a wolfy grin.
"Where are you from..?"

Kira couldn't meet Kiba's eyes and looked down at her paws.
"A long way from here."

Kiba says, "You're welcome to stay with us."

Jay smiles. "We are the only ones in our pack so far, If we were to take you in, Kiba would have to assess your abilities to help choose what rank you would maintain."

She looks at Kiba then to Jay.
"Oh, well okay."
She wags her tail and smiles a wolfy smile lol.XD

Kiba smiles and points his noise to the dead deer.
"Have some."

"Thank you for accepting me into your pack, and for offering the food."
A guilty look came across her face.
"But I think I have already had my meal and I do not wish to be greedy."

Kiba smiles.
"That's alright."
He turns and heads back towards the lair.

Kira follows anxious to see the pack's lair.

Jay follows, behind Kira, listening for danger.
